Private sector business and information technology consultants are expensive – sometimes charging several hundred dollars an hour for their services. Aside from that expense, private sector consultants often don’t realize the difference between public sector organizations and private businesses.
Elected officials and public servants don’t serve a “profit motive.” Public servants balance competing civic interests every day. Governments, school districts and other public entities do not exist to make profits; they exist to provide public services.
This doesn’t mean governments, school districts or other public bodies can’t benefit from some of the same strategies that make today’s American businesses successful. Public Performance Partners (P3) was created to help public organizations use strategies that can be applied from the private to the public sector. Collaboration, data-driven decisions, project management and performance improvement are just some of the methods P3 uses to bring cost-reductions and efficiencies to its clients.
Our sense of public service and your support help keep our fees to Ohio’s governments and school districts low.
